From an Empty Space to a Dream Salon
After a whirlwind few months of preparing our new space in Pandosy village, we are beyond excited to share our story of how a vision became reality.
The idea of expanding Nude Salon + Style Bar began several years ago recognizing a need for an upscale salon to provide both local and out of town guests with express styles, blowouts and makeup for an event or a night out in the city. While we still wanted to continue offering cut and color services, we wanted to accomodate our clients with a variety of services.
The location had to reflect this vision to ensure our clients could easily access all of the services we are now offering. The collection includes all of the services offered in the previous salon as well as hair extensions, infrared sauna and light therapy, makeup services and lessons, spa services by The Solo Esthetics, and fine line and micro tattoos/permanent makeup by Bangers by Jangers. Our chosen space in Pandosy Village is now able to accommodate large groups including bridal parties, wine tour groups, bachelorette parties, or private functions.
Building the perfect team was essential to helping our clients feel their best and we have been very fortunate in who has joined our team.
We first welcomed Sofia, born and raised in Kelowna and attended a makeup and hairstyling course at Michael Vincent Academy in Los Angelas California. Sofia built her portfolio working on runway shows, red carpet events and celebrities!
Next we were thrilled to have Jill from Abbotsford join. Jill is a senior stylist that loves everything hair especially wedding and styling and loves making people feel good about themselves.
Anna who graduated from MC College and has always known she wanted to be a stylist was next to join our team. Her mother was a stylist so you could say it was in her blood and mixed with her passion to create beauty, her clients are always satisfied.
Our most recent addition is Sydney, our in-house accountant and business manager who just recently moved back to the Okanagan after having twins with her partner from Australia. Sydney ensures the behind the scenes run smoothly allowing the creatives to focus their energy on our clients.
We were so excited to showcase our new space at an open house in September where we had tons of giveaways including a week stay at a luxurious resort in Bali! We were deeply moved by the show of love and support from the community that we received, people were literally lining up down the street! Thank you so much to everyone who has helped turn our dream into reality, we could not have made this happen without you!
